I store my water hose outside for the winter. To prevent water from freezing and swelling the hose, I screw in the cap with the hole and use an air compressor to blow out excess water from the hose. I then use the caps to prevent any small critters from living in the stored hose. I made a storage strip to house the caps during summer. The strip can use a 15 x 3mm neodymium magnet on the bottom side to put the strip on a metal surface. Screw in the compressed air plug. Push air nozzle into hole firmly and use burst of air to clear hose. Make sure nothing is restricting the water from moving from the hose. Compressed air can be 100+ PSI.
I used generic black and gray PLA with 0.2 layers, 4 walls for tread strength, 25 to 30 infill, no supports. I designed a plug for the magnet hole that prints with the strip for the spanning across the hole that can be easily removed after printing. The air nozzle hole is 8mm.
The author remixed this model.
Used the thread portion to create the hose caps and modified original with just a hole to press an air hose into.
