Biscuit pricker

Biscuit dough needs pricking for perfect baking. It takes ages with a fork, so I made this simple biscuit pricker.

You will need some ordinary steel or brass panel pins to complete this model. The ones I used were about 1.5 mm diameter and 20mm long.  You can modify the pad if your pins differ.  I pushed the pins through the holes in the pad using pliers. Watch out. They are sharp!

The handle was a tight press fit into the top of holder and the pad with the pins was hot glued into the base. I then used some abrasive paper on a block to gently take off some of the sharpness of the pins.

The step files are included in case you want to play with the dimensions but they'll work OK as they are.

The pad was printed in TPU as was the cover. All other parts were in PLA+.  The biscuit printer survived the top rack of the dishwasher.

The biscuits were delicious....
