New Years Eve Ball Drop Fidget (2026)

Design Concept

The design's inspiration comes from the ball drop in New York that celebrates the new year by a ball dropping and lighting up the new year. 

Print Settings

Default settings work - 15% infill, 2 walls, and 0.2 mm layer height.

Assembly

The model comes in three pieces - the base, the ball, and the cap. The assembly requires glue to attach the cap and base together. Super glue works well.

1. Carefully remove the pieces from the base plate. 

2. Place the base on a flat surface. 

3. Place the ball on the pole located on the base and let it rotate down. 

4. Apply glue to the inside of the joint at the top of the pole.

5. Firmly press the cap into the joint and apply pressure to firmly seal the glue.
