Artificial Tree Brace

The flimsy steel stand that came with my artificial tree broke this year, but I had a tree stand meant for a real tree leftover from previous years. The screws in it went far enough to touch the main pole, but it wasn't very stable. I made this brace to give everything more surface area to work with. Now I can put weight on the tree without it falling over!
