๐ŸŒฑ Growix RootCore Cup โ€” 3D Printable Seedling & Root Training Pot

Strong roots from day one. Designed for continuous growth.

The Growix RootCore Cup is a 3D-printable seedling pot developed to support healthy root development and uninterrupted early growth, especially for cannabis seedlings and other young plants.

It focuses on the most critical phase of plant development:

germination, seedling stage, and early vegetation.

Unlike standard small cups, RootCore is designed to reduce early stress, improve airflow, and make transplanting easier, safer, and more controlled.

โœจ Key Features

๐ŸŒฑ Optimized root guidance

The inner geometry supports natural taproot development while encouraging lateral roots for a balanced root structure.

๐Ÿ’ง Controlled drainage & airflow

Lower openings allow excess water to escape and improve oxygen availability in the root zone.

๐Ÿ”„ Easy push-out for transplanting

The bottom design allows the root ball to be gently pushed out instead of pulled, reducing root damage and transplant shock.

๐Ÿ‘€ Root inspection possible

Roots can be visually checked before transplanting to assess density, health, and readiness.

โš™ Designed for FDM 3D printing

Optimized geometry for common desktop printers and standard materials.

๐ŸŒฟ Reusable & modular

Part of the Growix modular grow system.

๐Ÿ”ฌ How it works

1 Start the seedling directly in the RootCore Cup

2 Water drains sideways and downward without waterlogging

3 Roots grow deeper and branch evenly instead of circling

4 When ready, gently push the plant out from the bottom

5 Inspect the root system and transplant stress-free

This approach helps prevent early stagnation and supports smoother transitions to larger pots.

๐ŸŒฟ Recommended for

โœ” Cannabis seedlings (indoor grow)

โœ” Herbs and vegetable starts

โœ” Soil, light-mix, or coco substrates

โœ” Growers who want controlled root development and easy transplanting

๐Ÿ–จ 3D Print Settings (Recommended)

๐Ÿงต Material: PLA or PETG

๐Ÿ“ Layer height: 0.20 mm (or finer for smoother surfaces)

๐Ÿงฑ Walls: 3โ€“4 perimeters

๐ŸŒ€ Infill: 10โ€“20 %

๐Ÿงฉ Supports: Required for the bottom geometry (depending on orientation and slicer)

๐Ÿ“Œ Adjust settings according to your printer, filament, and slicer.

๐Ÿ“ Notes

๐Ÿ”น Allows seedlings to remain longer in the cup before transplanting

๐Ÿ”น Reduces transplant shock by avoiding pulling on the stem

๐Ÿ”น Makes root development visible before moving to larger containers

๐Ÿ”น Balances moisture retention with airflow for healthier roots
