Original Ikea product here. This cost me around $4.55 in filament, compared to $7.99 plus tax and shipping at the store. My design is a lot stronger being made out of PLA rather than paperboard, and all the walls are 2mm thick for extra structural support.
Tested my print in Overtrue Matte Black PLA, with a layer height of 0.28mm and infill at 15%. You can open my OcraSlicer file to see all my settings, especially my fuzzy skin profile. It added a small brim for printing but I don't think that's fully necessary. Filament use was about 303.43g and took 6h22m on my Centauri Carbon. Nozzle temp was 225C for the first layer and 195C for others. Bed was 70C for first layer and 55C for others. Had no problem keeping the top lid on.
Original SolidPython2 and OpenSCAD files included. You will need to have BOSL2 and/or SolidPython2 to edit the files.
