Top Direct Feed Mount For Prusa XL

Prusa XL top feed mount. Either using spool shaft or dry box (with hole drilled in bottom of the box.

It's a bit of a project to complete but worth it & looks good. I think anyway...

• I printed mine from Prusament PLA Galaxy black to match the XL frame.

• .15mm structural, 15% infill.

• support on build plate only. 

Whole thing clips or pushes together (little fiddley and tight) and will sit on top of the encloser.

option to fix to encloser. remove existing screws and replace with...

• M5 x 12 cylindrical head hex screw into L & R side top.stl

• M3 x 12 cylindrical head hex screw into L & R side bottom.stl with M3 nut used on the inside to secure.

Spool Shaft.stl

• Designed to fit with 2x 40mm OD / 20mm ID bearings (ordered online about £2 each)

Lower bed.stl

• Used Straight Pneumatic Male 4mm Tube OD x M5 Thread to attach PTFE tube direct to tool head (Optional)

• Also Printed these to hold extra PTFE tube.

Mid center.stl & Pins for mid centre.stl

• Mid center.stl & Pins for mid centre.stl - load to Prusaslicer together so the slicer joins them in the right place. I did this to separate them as I printed pins from different filament and 100% infill and Mid center.stl at 15% infill.

Prusa Logo base.stl, logo orange.stl, logo white.stl

• I  loaded logo base.stl & logo white.stl at the same time into slicer and printed in galaxy black and white PLA then printed orange separately & pushed orange into place as I only have duel tool heads.
