I used:
TC4056 for the USB-C charging solution
A generic micro 3.7V to 12V step-up (e.g. this one)
A simple mechanical switch for the on/off mechanic (anything that can handle your amps)
A 12V 50x50 Fan
A few white LEDs and some 1.5kO 1/4W resistors
An 18500 form factor rechargeable battery
Not as elegant as the SOLDR original solution and only allows switching the fan and light at once, but good enough for me.
Also not as even in terms of lighting and a bit of a fiddle in the assembly, so unless the set of components is not available to you or you have most of the parts lying around, I recommend getting the original PCB from SOLDR.
