Airsoft SKS 45/Type 56 AEG rifle with Chinese and Soviet markings

Airsoft replica of Simonov rifle.

Gun using v7/m14 gearbox with modified ar15 style hop unit. 

My attempt was once again to make this replica realistick as possible so there is gonna be some hand modifications need while assembling the gun. Gun has real Type 56 and SKS 45 markings and features.  Also model is based on real dimensions co you cal use some of the real parts. ( action cover, all metal bits on the barrel, magwell cover, bayonet, butt plate the rest could be modified to fit.

1. Strip down the gearbox as much as you can (there is no space for safety and fire selector), than file the gearbox hook to fit the gearbox lug and lastly file the wire guiding on bouth sides.                               

2. File downt the hop unit like 2mm or use longer nozzle. If you file the hop unit you have to use ar15 nozzle.                                                                             

3. For the magazine you can use a midcap spring and folower, capacity depends on lenght.                         

4. Stock is out of 5 pieces that conects in to two halfs and than they are glue to gether in one big piece.   

5. Rest of assembely is like the real gun.

You are gonna need:

1. m3 screws in different lenghs

2. m4 screws 

3. m5 screws 

4. 3mm pins in different lenghs 

5. glue

6. different types of coil springs 

7. m3 stel rod ( for bayonet and cleaning rod)

8. m3 nuts

9. files to make some modifications and fitment ( Im suck at 3D modeling )
