Planetary Snowflake

Hi, i made this design to learn more about planetary gearboxes and making gears in fusion 360 software. Enjoy!! edit: i also enjoy fidgeting with it often. 

The design is 3 different snowflakes, 2 of them spinning at different rates using some gearing!! Designed to go onto your Christmas tree and to be a cool quirk to show to your family and friends

This can be printed in a wide range of filaments - eg PLA PETG ect..               The design does need support structures within the slicing software and they will need to be removed after printing. There are a number of assembly videos on instagram if wondering how to assemble, but its pretty self ex-planet-ory!!  The instagram is the same username! 

The design is customisable as the gears have holes that different designs can be implemented into, such as other patterns other than snowflakes!! Therefore this design will be remix-able. I used black and white filament without the use of an  AMS system and am more than happy with the results.

No lubrication required, it will be find with the moderate use it will experience, adding a petroleum based product such as vaseline i have found does smooth things out if need be.
