Here is the electrical scheme of new machine, and a picture of the final result of this scheme

You'll also need 3x M3x10mm and 2x M3x18 socket head cap screws to hold it together, or whatever you have that will work with the provided screw holes. Oh, and probably a piece of wire or two, some solder, and a soldering iron. And two 3.7v batteries CR123A or 16340 Lithium. And a screwdriver. ;-)

Check your switch to make sure it's like mine, but the two contacts nearest the hinge point are what I used to make the connection when the lever is pressed down. Use a piece of filament as the hinge pin. Drill or ream out the holes if needed, then melt the ends to keep it from working itself out. The new screw hinge option is designed for M2x8mm socket head cap screws, but something close in size would probably work fine, so long as the lever arm is secure and rotates easily.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

  • if you have a 16340 unprotected, or a CR123A, you have to print 2x 16340_battery_case_normal

  • if you have a 16340 protected (it is 1.6mm long then the unprotected version), you have to print 2x 16340_battery_case_long

* The links provided for the 16340 battery (Amazon / Aliexpress), is referred to a protected version

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

The differences between models is the battery source. Instead of 9V battery, i've used two 16340 / CR123A batteries, and i had to redesign the battery housing, by using another model founded on printables, indicated on the remixed links
