Hello!

I have made a rim for a robotics wheel, intended in the use of RC cars.

Why, you may ask?

Well, I found that the standard rim that these quality wheels come with are not only not stylish, but made of flimsy, thin plastic, unsuitable for any rougher handling.

However, my design is not only harder and stronger, but also includes many design elements, such as a BBS inspired design.

It is suitable for friction mounting, as well getting bolted in; the hub accepts any screw ranging from an M6 to an M10.

If needed, contact me, and I will create a custom hub for your needs for no extra cost!!!

Due to the tight tolerances, it is advised that you cool down the rim in the fridge (optimally, the freezer) and after taking it out, apply heat to the tire, so that it can stretch over it well.

Additional balance can be achieved by putting sand, or similar fine powder into the tire, and/or gluing the tire to the rim, however, this is permanent.

Below I have linked images of the rim, and the tire that it is made to take.

Have fun printing!
