Give your Govee string‑light controller (e.g., Govee Xmas Lights) a more weather‑resistant home. This printable enclosure uses a compressible TPU gasket and dual cable pass‑throughs to improve outdoor durability over the stock control box.

• Dual cable gasket supports 2×6 mm OD cables (or smaller)

• Lid secured with four M3×8 mm screws

• Bottom half prepared for four M3 heat‑set inserts

• Designed for 4 perimeters for better sealing and strength

• Enclosure intended for PETG; gasket prints in TPU

Notes:

• No formal IP rating; weather resistance depends on print settings, filament, and assembly

• Check your controller’s dimensions/revision before printing to ensure fit

Materials:

• Enclosure: PETG

• Gasket: TPU

• 4× M3 heat‑set inserts

• 4× M3×8 mm screws

• Optional: thin smear of silicone grease on gasket/cables for improved sealing

Printing/assembly:

• Print enclosure in PETG and gasket in TPU

• Use 4 perimeters as designed

• Install heat‑set inserts in the bottom half, seat the gasket, route cables, then tighten screws evenly (do not overtighten)

Use at your own risk. I use it for low voltage use cases - for mains volage a ceritified enclosure with a IPxx rating is the safer choice.
