I wanted a means of safely storing the claw feet for my tripod when travelling with them and the tripod in a suitcase.
also wanted to make sure that the bottom of each leg was a water tight as possible when fitted with the Selens FT-01 claw foot.
For simplicity the covers are printed as two halve (base & cover) and then superglued together. To date this has been a reliable solution.
The parts are a snug fit to avoid them failing off during travel.
Best printed in TPU with 40% infill to give enough strength whilst still being reasonably flexible.
