Enclosed Modular Drawer System in Alu Profile Frame

As part of my project to build a table for my Prusa XL, I wanted to integrate the excellent spool-storage system designed by @RCDIY_187541. 

To create the structure, I chose a 30 mm aluminum profile frame. Because of this, I needed to adapt the original drawer design to ensure a proper fit. In short, I enlarged and reinforced the drawers so that the assembly holes align precisely with the profile slots and match the T-slot connectors.

The frame is assembled using M4 screws and M4 T-slot nuts.

I also adapted several components to match what is easily available in Europe. The rod is now 23 mm in diameter. I used 550 mm sliders. The assembly concept for the drawer remains very close to the original, except that I used M4 brass inserts throughout. The redesigned modules are stackable with additional M4 screws and nuts.

A key objective was to make the enclosure as air-tight as possible. With added sealing strips, this can be fully achieved.
(Not the main focus of this post, but the enclosure is built using 6 mm plexiglass for the five remaining faces of the box.)

In summary, you can build a complete, modular spool-storage box yourself.
All printed parts were made in ASA at 0.30 / 0.25 mm layer height, with no supports needed.
