Upcycling Regular String of Lights

You don't have any Christmas lights yet? 

But you do have a regular string of lights and a 3D printer? 

Then this might be just the thing for you. 

Print these stars, grab some glue, and assemble them. 

I used transparent light blue filament for this.

Before throwing something away, consider making something else out of it.
