This upgrade kit replaces parts of my original design for the widely popular miniature vice. With the parts in the publication, you can use a quarter inch screw (¼-20) and nut if you live in a country where an M6x70 screw and M6 nut is hard to get.
All other parts of original vice can still be used. You only need to replace the moving block and the thumb knob with the parts in this publication. (See below for which moving block model you should use).
The original design can be found here:

A big thanks goes to jurassic73 and ChuckTheSquirrel for providing me with precise measures of the imperial screw and nut, which I do not have access to. I made myself a printed copy of the screw and nut based on their numbers and used it as reference for this design. (That is why you don't see a metal screw in the picture.)
Since the cutout for the nut is intentionally tight, but also affected by the bridging capabilities of your printer, I have uploaded two versions of the moving block. With a good bridging printer, you can use the version that says “tighter cutout for nut” in the name.
I case you are interested in the printed quarter inch screw and nut, you can find the here:

Happy printing to all my friends in countries that do not use the metrical system!
