I added a rim mount light and thus couldn't use the stock lid, but with a cat I didn't want to risk leaving the tank exposed. With the added benefit of helping with evaporation. I took a sheet of Poly carbonate and scored and snapped to size. These jigs allow the lid to sit completely flush and give a premium look to the tank. The T mounts are modeled to fit a skimmer should you choose. You need to print 2 90s, 2 T's, and 5 Long Straights.
This is a work in progress and I will be adding smaller straight pieces to fully close off the gaps. The long pieces were modeled to fit most printers and allow for one model for three sides. They also leave gaps for running wires for power heads.
I am currently working on a lid for the sump, I will update as it is completed.
I printed with PETG at 30% gyroid infill, but any marine safe plastic should be fine with any infill values.
