Do you want to put your Prusa Mini printer into an enclosure? Why not build it inside an actual PC case, such as the Cooler Master Qube 540? I’ve designed several mounting brackets that allow you to rebuild the Prusa Mini inside the Qube 540 with as little disassembly as possible.
PC case fans can be used to help regulate the chamber temperature, and I’ve also designed a fan bracket that mounts to the front of the case to act as an additional part-cooling fan.
To mount the components inside the case, you’ll first need to remove the mainboard tray. The Z-axis assembly must be mounted externally; you can either cut an opening in the right side panel as shown in the renders or remove the panel entirely.
In addition to the printed parts, you’ll need various M3 and M5 bolts and nuts. The original electronics housing can be reused and mounted inside the case.
