PopSockets are great, but the standard air-con vent mount for a popsocket-ed phone has a few problems. The weight of the phone and bumps will cause the vent to move up and down as well as rotate if your PopSocket is not located at the center of mass of the phone. The model file provided was tested to fix both of these problems on a 2010 Jeep. The circular air vent design is common on many vehicles and is easily adapted from the model files which are also included. The longer spike is used to center itself on the frame of the air vent and prevent rotation. This positions the air vent at slightly above horizontal, increasing the safety factor of the PopSocket holding your phone over bumpy roads.
