Creality Sprite Extruder BL Touch Adapter for Ender 3 S1, CR-10, 5 S1, V3 KE SE bltouch 3D touch

The Creality Sprite Extruder found on Ender: 3 S1, CR-10 Smart Pro, 5 S1, V3 KE/SE; was designed with fixed probe mount for CR-Touch that have its probe needle lowers a little shorter than a BL-Touch, so if you replace the CR-Touch with BL-Touch, it is likely that the probe needle will hit the bed before the nozzle, and ruin the needle. Shortening the needle may not be a good idea since the probe relies on the needle weight and gravity to deploy it. Thank you Creality for this awful design choices.

This adapter adds an extra 2mm height so that you can use BL-Touch without ruining the needle. However the probe location is moved a little (12mm to the left) so you will need to compensate it on your probe's x-offset value.

Instruction:

• Install the adapter and BL-Touch as illustrated in the photo
• If you are using Klipper, on your printer.cfg, under [bltouch], add “-12” to original x_offset value. Example, if the original value is “-32”, change it to “-44”
• If you are using the custom Profesional (Marlin) firmware, go to Advanced > Probe Settings, and change the value on Probe X Offset
• If you use the stock Creality firmware, I'm afraid you may not be able to modify the offset.
