Inspired by bobble heads, this is a fun gnome Christmas decoration that can wobble side to side. There are two gnome designs to pick from: detailed and simplistic (each design uses the same spring and feet parts). The bobble head prints in three parts that can easily be put together and don't require any supports when printing.
I used PLA+ (but regular PLA should also work) and printed all the parts with 15% infill and 2 wall loops.
INSTRUCTIONS: Insert the large tipped side of the spring into the slot inside the gnome. Then push the feet onto the other, smaller end of the spring. Use glue if any of the connections feel loose. Then just put some double-sided tape or other non-destructive adhesive underneath the stand/feet (this keeps the gnome from moving around or falling over when it wobbles) and place the Wobbly Gnome wherever you want it to reside.
Huge shout out to LRB Design's design. While the “Simplistic_Gnome” is an original design created by me, the “Detailed_Gnome” is a remix off of one of LRB Design's models. I loved the gnome he made so much that I just knew I had to turn it into a gnome bobble head.
The author remixed this model.
I have turned LRB Design's incredible model of a gnome into a bobble head.
