The model of lamp I used : https://fr.aliexpress.com/item/1005008942555693.html?spm=a2g0s.12269583.0.0.2f434d8ciBQFGo&gatewayAdapt=glo2fra

Stitch head :

To make the head hollow, I used these settings : 0 bottom layer, 3 top layers, 0% infill, 3 perimeters.

I also added a modifier at the top of the head to increase the number of top layers because, on my first attempt, the print failed at this point because it was too thin and had too much overhang. I printed with a layer height of 0.28 mm.

I had problems with the supports, as you can see in the photo showing the underside of the head. The supports were very difficult to remove and left a lot of marks. So I sanded the underside of the head with my Dremel and made my base so that it hides the problem. I think the problem is partly due to the filament, so if you use a filament that “works better,” please leave a comment.

Base :

I made the base with my slicer. But I can't export it to stl because of the slicer. So I'm posting the basic shape here and giving you the instructions (also refer to the photos) :

- Use the cylinder I imported or create one that matches the diameter of the “surface with supports” (for me that was 127mm). And make sure it is high enough.

- Import the head as a negative volume

- Place it in the center and make sure the head is level with the plate (at z=0)

- Raise the head by 2 mm - Make the notch to pass the cable through with one or more other negative volumes (I personally used two)

- And that's it. Please post it if you manage to export it as .stl

Assembly :

- Make a notch at the bottom of the head where you want the cable to come out (I personally did it at the back).

- Glue the lamp to its base. I used super glue.

- Glue the base under the head. I used neoprene glue and it seems to be holding.

Filament I used :  Sunlu Silk PLA Silver, Sunlu PLA Transparent Blue

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

Changes I have made : I only used the “head” part of the original model. I filled in the hole that was used for attachment. I printed it so that the inside was hollow, and I made a base.
