Raspberry Pi Zero W Webcam Case

This is a custom-designed protective case for a DIY webcam built around the Raspberry Pi Zero W, combined with a Waveshare USB HUB HAT, and the Raspberry Pi Camera Module 3. The case features a thoughtful multi-component design that keeps all electronics safely enclosed while maintaining full functionality.

The case includes integrated ventilation slots on the front and side panels to ensure proper airflow and prevent overheating during extended use. A clear window or cutout on the front provides an unobstructed view for the camera lens, while dedicated ports allow easy access to the USB connections provided by the HAT, the camera button/indicator, and power input.

The design uses a hinged or snap-fit assembly (visible in the CAD model with the yellow and blue sections) that makes it easy to access the internal components for maintenance, SD card swapping, or hardware modifications without completely disassembling the case. The compact vertical form factor keeps the webcam footprint small while the integrated mounting points on top allow for flexible positioning options.
