Gladius

I wanted a simple short sword. 
This fits the bill. 
It's comfortable and feels nice in the hand. 
I have only printed the handle, I plan to make the blade from a piece of maple. 
(I'll post photos later :)

if any other ambitious individual wants to get to it before me, have at it. 

I have included a small easily printed piece (Gladius-BladeStencil) if you print this with no top and bottom fill and minimal infill, it will act as stencil so you know how to cut the tang to fit into the handle. 
then just glue and run a wood screw up the pommel. 

FYI: At this scale the blade is 13" long or so.
