Demogorgon Spawn (DND / TTRPG)

Another Creature from Stranger Things' recent 5e Adventure "Welcome to the Hellfire Club" - the Demogorgon Spawn - which is the iconic Demogorgon from Stranger things but for DND things get a bit confusing I guess.

One of those projects I mentioned - I'm trying to finish all of the missing models for mainline 5e campaigns and compiling them into a list on my GMBuddy website. Being a GM / DM is a LOT of work - add to that finding the right minis, printing and painting them. Oof. This isn't much and it isn't perfect or a replacement for your research but my hope is that it saves some time. Also for creators I've also added a bounty list showing which creatures don't seem to exist yet on Thingiverse / Printables so it could be a good source of niche minis worth creating - in order to get yours added you can create an account and submit it as a recommended model.

This mini started as an AI model and from there I sliced apart the petals into a symmetrical arrangement, sculpted the body, added some poses and then went through the print optimization work. Part 1 of the Livestream can be found here:

I had originally read "Huge" when looking at the size and made this fellow sized for a 75mm baseplate and then realized in this adventure they're medium... So I fixed that and added 50mm versions as well.

For FDM printing I think on the Huge variants you can get away with printing them upright - otherwise you should tilt them 90 degrees onto their backs. For resin printing the usual 45 degree tilt backwards and auto supports should be fine. The key parts to watch for are the fingers which are small enough that they could snap on you when removing supports or if the mini takes a tumble.
