Hello everybody!
I've always wanted one of those hanging picture setups in my room and as a maker i thought this was the perfect occasion to print one!
Printing:
The print itself is really easy, it only takes seven minutes for a couple to be printed, but you can print as many as you want to hang multiple pictures.
I suggest printing with only one vertical wall to avoid bulking due to the thickness of the wall.
I used 20% rectilinear infill for the print and a 0.4 nozzle at 0.2 mm layer height, but any nozzle and layer height should do the job, as long as you manage to keep dimensional accuracy.
Assembly:
For the assembly you will need a string, any king should be good if it fits, i used a jute one which looks good to me and has some texture, but you can also use fishing wireto have a floating effect.
You can tie your string to a nail or to any feature offered by the wall/bed/wardrobe etc…
If you have any doubt just look at the picture.
The gap is 0.15 mm wide, if you find it a bit tight try spreading it with a pencil, just don't exaggerate.
Hope everything is clear,
Have fun and make it simple!
