This Christmas tree doesn’t care about flying reindeer or unionized elves. It’s here to slay.

Printed in charcoal matte black PLA and hand-painted with gold acrylics, this model is the elegant, slightly punk answer to holiday kitsch. The 3MF file is multicolor, because Christmas makes us all a little nicer… even if multicolor printing produces more plastic poops than a flu-ridden elf factory. Want the photo result? Print it in black, grab a brush, and gild it like you’re prepping Sauron’s throne for a holiday party.

Minimal, symbolic, and unapologetically festive. If you can’t be the best, at least be the most stylish.

🎨 Painting Techniques (if printed in single color)

  • If you choose to print the model entirely in black PLA, here’s how to achieve the golden look:
  • Matte black primer: to unify the surface and improve acrylic adhesion.
  • Fine brush gold acrylic: apply the decorative motifs with a steady hand and a bloodstream full of caffeine.
  • Light gold dry brushing on edges: to simulate reflections and add depth.
  • Satin clear coat: to protect the finish and make it look more expensive than it actually is.

Bonus tip: if you mess up a brushstroke, pretend it’s intentional. Art is improvisation… and mild panic.

Print it, paint it, worship it. Then place it where you’d put the fruitcake with raisins: proudly on display, but with a hint of passive aggression.
