These are wall hooks which we used to mount a Ruger 10/22 on the wall. The hooks include a rigid part (we used ASA), which is wider than the widest part of the rifle, and soft parts (we used TPU) so that the rifle fits snugly in the hook. For the stock of the rifle, the insert is 8mm thick on each side and for the forestock, it is 3 mm thick on each side. If there is interest, I could post hooks and inserts with different measurements.
The hook published here has countersunk screw holes for #8 screws. Again, if there is interest I could publish versions without screw holes so you could add your own in a slicer.
The TPU was printed with only 10% infill and 1 layer walls to maximize squishiness. The insert was glued to the hook using Elmer's rubber cement.
Hey, blue was the only color of TPU we had and it makes for a high-contrast picture.
The inserts are named wall_mount_insert_x_y_z.stl where x is the internal width of the hook, y is the thickness of the sides of the insert, and z is the thickness of the bottom of the insert.
