Description

PDF

A simple part to clamp the end of a Bowden tube to your printer's frame. You'll need a segment of PTFE tubing and a compatible M6 coupler. (Most commonly a 4mm OD/2mm ID tube with a PC4-M6 coupler.) You'll also need 2x M5x8 socket bolts with M5 T-nuts (or similar).

Recommended Print Settings

  • 0.4mm nozzle
  • 0.2mm layer height
  • 10% infill
  • No supports
  • Print as oriented

Original description

This filament guide tightly constrains the filament using a Bowden tube.

Compared to other filament guides with a wider space, this design further prevents the filament from curling around, which is especially likely when your spool is almost finished.

Model origin

The author remixed this model.

Differences of the remix compared to the original

  • Narrowed to 10mm and shortened to 60mm
  • Rearranged bolt slots for compatibility with regular frame extrusion (still compatible with SV06 frame, but without the top-mounted spool holder)
