The feet on my Eibos Cyclopes Filament Drier are extremely fragile and when I bumped into my drier the foot broke clean off along with breaking the bottom panel! I created a model that slips over the broken screw peg and gives it some more vertical support along with some more horizontal support for the foot to actually rest on.

Features:

  • Thicker walls for more vertical support allowing the leg to absorb more horizontal pressure.
  • Snug fit around the existing foot support post.
  • Large horizontal foot platform for both foot and back panel support.

Important Notes:

  • You will most likely need larger/longer screws to resecure the leg back in place. I used 1 ¼" drywall screws which worked perfectly into the existing fragile plastic. The factory screws were not only not long enough after my legs broke but they were stripped!

Installation Instructions:

  1. Open the back panel by unscrewing any remaining feet.
  2. Press the repair piece over the existing foot screw column.
    • Highly recommend installing this repair for all other feet even if they are fine because why not
  3. Reinstall the back panel.
  4. Reinstall the foot with a larger/longer screw
    • Again I used a 1 ¼" drywall screw and it worked great!

My Print Config:

Prusa MK3S+ 40mm Nozzle, PETG, 0.20mm layer height. No supports, nothing fancy.
