2025-11-17 Update: Noticed after printing with low-quality filament that the tabs were breaking off. After further analysis identified several systemic flaws in the original model which was from March of 2025. Using new knowledge gained from many other models created in the last eight months I created a vastly improved version designed to mitigate all the intrinsic limits of FDM. This version does not include a screw hole but won't break even when printed with inferior filament. It also prints without supports. It's still not perfect, but I do believe it's better than the original.

Created for another project, this dynamic model can be easily adapted in sketchup to fit virtually any size foot or leg of a table, chair, etc. It protects both the vulnerable bottoms of wooden furniture and the surface of floors. It slides on and locks into place via passive compliant tension tabs. Keep in mind you do need basic sketchup skills to change the form factor cleanly to your custom specifications.
It prints without supports and is exceptionally sturdy. There is also a countersunk screw hole on the bottom if you are paranoid about it slipping off.
The author marked this model as their own original creation.
