Need a better strain relief? Use this one! Includes mounting holes for a 4010 fan when used with standard M3 standoffs. Simply sandwich this between your Orbiter and O2S. Easy access to boot/reset buttons, cutouts for filament sensor pins, driver, and heatsink pins.
Added more meat to the strain relief, as the original was a bit floppy.
Cable strain relief slightly reworked to allow for the original lock or a ziptie.
Print with ABS/ASA or better. High infill results in more rigid strain relief.
Use 2 M3x20mm standoffs to allow for mounting a 4010 fan. I have mine wired to the hotend fan.
For those with the Orbiter filament sensor, I recommend using the 14mm standoffs between the extruder and O2S, and the 18mm standoffs for the 4010 fan. This still leaves plenty of room for cable management and enough space between the extruder and driver.
Temps have dropped from 90c+ to ~70c in a 50-55c chamber.
The author remixed this model.
Added a (mostly) solid back for more rigidity, made the strain relief thicker, added cutout for ziptie, and provisions for M3x20mm standoffs to mount a 4010 fan for active cooling.
