The official nozzle swap/replacement tool  and modifications to it (eg, this one) grab the heat block and balance on the fan screw heads. They always feel precarious to me. And when unscrewing the nozzle, I would like three hands to hold the head still, the wrench in place, and the swap tool in place.

Fortunately the swap tools also feature a groove to nestle into the rail on the front of the cabinet.

Taking advantage of this, I've fashioned this little clamp / third hand. It holds the head in place while you work. It sandwiches the swap tool between the head and the cabinet rail.

It clicks onto a bar that holds the bottom right corner of the fan, located on the back side of the fan, here:

It's very simple and easy to use.  I recommend turning the unit off.  Attach your nozzle swap tool in the usual way. Pull the print head/hotend up to the front of the enclosure. Cip  the Head Holder on to the front rail:

Then simply push the Head Holder and the print head together until they clip together:

To remove, twist it counter-clockwise or push the head and the holder apart.

This can be printed out of anything, but petg is excellent for this (the integral clip will work well with the flexibility, strength, and lack of creep). Print with the one flat side down, as presented in the 3mf file.

Release notes: 11/11/25, minor adjustments to snap securely on the rail.
