NEW VERSION UPLOADED

There are only a few hours left to print the final Christmas model, so obviously I waited until the last possible moment to post one more profile for the Minimal Nativity.

This version is hollowed out and backlit for maximum visual drama—because nothing says “holy night” like glowing plastic and questionable life choices.

Try the “Empty Nativity” profile and… congratulations, you’re now officially part of this festive chaos.

Merry Christmas to everyone! Yes, even you. Don’t pretend you’re not impressed. 🎄💥

Here’s the nativity that fired the ox and the donkey. It basically said: ‘Guys, you’re cute, but I’m going full Scandinavian design.’ The result? Three soft lines embracing each other — and boom, you instantly get the whole scene.

No moss that dries out, no figurines that look like medieval action figures. Just an abstract embrace that says: ‘Christmas is here, and yes, even without 47 supporting characters.’

Minimal, elegant, and zen enough to look like a nativity approved by an architect. 🎄✨

Print settings

  • Model height: 15 cm

  • Printing technology: FDM

  • Material: PLA

  • Layer height: 0.16 mm

  • PLA used: ~110 g

  • Printing time: ~11 h

🖌 Painting & finishing tips

  • Base color: print in white PLA, leave the body unpainted for a pure, minimal look.

  • Details: add subtle golden or silver glazes on the outer curves if desired.

  • Shading: very light gray wash to highlight the volumes.

  • Final coat: matte varnish to preserve the contemporary sculpture feel.

If this nativity could talk, it would say: ‘Sorry ox and donkey, this time it’s Nordic design only.’ 🐂🐴✨
