Remixed from Modified part for Beacon knob, this improved lever now supports a full range of rotation to open and close the vent completely, like the original design in Beacon Ventilation Knob for Core One, but keeps the bolt-fastened design to keep the knob on the lid without glue or tape.
Important note on installation: Bolt on top and nut on bottom (see photo 2) - this is reversed from the original design of Modified part for Beacon knob . In the original design, the nut has to be placed on the top for the lever to grab on. However, this is no longer needed, as the lever is now fastened to the bolt. Inserting the bolt from the top allows for easier installation / uninstallation as many have reported in Modified part for Beacon knob that it is difficult to hold the nut inside the lever when fastening. Follow the installation instructions in Modified part for Beacon knob and Beacon Ventilation Knob for Core One
DO NOT over fasten the bolt. Doing so might crack your lid or add friction to the operation.
This part will be hidden in the assembly, so the color doesn't matter.
The top ring on the lever is modified in this design to allow for a full range of rotation of the knob. Structurally it is still adequately strong for the use case.
