These push up blocks are designed to be very comfortable on the hands, with handles being 40mm in diameter, which happens to be the handle diameter of my favorite kettlebell. I designed these to be printed in optimal orientation with no supports. The handles have a flat spot on the bottom side, to be printed horizontally.
I used epoxy glue to hold the parts together. I wrapped some tennis racket tape around them, to increase the comfort some more.
Print all parts horizontally (both handles and the base pieces). Increase wall loops (perimeters) to 4 or 5 to add strength. Infill does not matter that much for strength. I used 40% Cubic. I printed my bars in PLA, and been using them for a few months, and they are holding me just fine (I weigh 90kg). But I'm only doing push-ups, so they are holding about quarter my weight each.
I also enabled "Insert solid layers" in Orca Slicer, to print a solid layer for every 5 mm of height, to add even more strength (see screenshot below).
The rubber feet I printed in TPU, but if you don't have TPU, just cut out some rubber rectangles instead.
Obviously, you need 2 handles, 4 bases, and 8 rubber feet, for a set of 2 bars.
