While restoring an old CR-10 Max I noticed that the hotend mounting holes on the metal plate on the X carriage were bad. As this part seems to be impossible to find nowadays I decided to go for a printed solution. I found some old designs on Thingiverse and modded them to suit my needs. FreeCAD project files are included, but don't expect anything pretty in there ;)
I used 100% infill modifiers for the belt clips on the carriage plate. For the rest just make sure you have the right nuts and bolts (mostly M3, except for the 4010 hotend cooler fan which is M2/M2.5) to mount all the parts. I applied some heat to sink the M3 nuts for the hotend mounting bolts into the X carriage, but that may not be necessary depending on your printer accuracy.
Orientation is not great by default, but should be pretty obvious once you see the models.
The author remixed this model.
I used the hotend spacer from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2656991 with the 40mm fan hotend cooler mount from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2848948 .
I modified the X carriage base to have slightly thicker belt clips and added a mount for the BLTouch to the left of the hotend. I also modified the 5015 radial part cooler duct to accommodate a 4020 radial fan on the right side of the hotend.
