This is a bed scraper / print removal tool designed to safely and efficiently remove prints from build plates.
The handle features a hexagonal (honeycomb) grip pattern for improved ergonomics and a modern look — the textured surface gives a secure, non-slip hold even when your hands are dusty or slightly oily.

Key features

Hex-pattern ergonomic handle for good grip and style

Chamfered blade edge for safe, effective print removal (not razor-sharp)

Printable flat — no supports needed (small chamfer details may benefit from 0.15–0.2 mm layers)

Compact and robust design made for repeated use

Optionally add a thicker Z-scale in slicer for a beefier handle if you want more stiffness

Material & safety

Recommended materials: PETG or ABS for durability; PLA for light-duty / demonstrational use

Blade edge: chamfered, not intended as a knife — use carefully and wear protection (gloves/eye protection recommended)

Keep away from children. Not a cutting tool replacement.

Recommended print settings

Layer height: 0.15–0.2 mm

Infill: 40–100% (higher for stiffer blade)

Walls: 3+ perimeters for strength

Orientation: print flat with hex side up for best surface finish

Supports: not required

Use cases

Removing FDM prints from glass, PEI, or textured plates

Scraping excess filament or raft remnants

Workshop tool for general light scraping tasks
