Eichler House Number Generator - OpenSCAD. Generate accurate eichler house numbers to the original specs.

INSTRUCTIONS for best results:

1. Download the font: https://freefonts.co/fonts/berthold-akzidenz-grotesk-extended
2. Install the font for all users. On windows 11, right click “Show more options” and pick “Install for all users”. This is required for OpenSCAD to pick up the font.
3. Install the latest development snapshot of OpenSCAD. https://openscad.org/downloads.html#snapshots . 
4. Go into preferences and turn on “lazy unions”. This makes it so it exports as multiple parts so it's easier to color in your slicer.
5. Adjust your house number at the top of the file.
6. Press render.
7. Export it as 3mf, and import into your slicer as a single object with multiple parts.

v1.1: increase render smoothness of text, change font to extended version

v1.2: split parts, remove modules. makes it easier to import into slicer

v1.3: increase font smoothness to 10000 by default

Q: The font isn't working?

A: Make sure you installed it for all users. In OpenSCAD, go to Help → Font List to check that you installed Berthold Akzidenz correctly.
