Bow Tie – Print in Place

This 3D-printed Bow Tie is a remix of the original Neck Tie design – smaller, stylish, and perfect for special occasions.

A Bow Tie always makes an impression: at a wedding, a gala, an evening event, or a graduation ceremony.

Some wear it regularly, others only for special occasions – but it always adds a touch of elegance.

And the best part: it shows off your 3D printing skills, fits on your print bed in one go, and doesn’t need much filament to print.

Now all you need is an occasion to show it off!

A slot runs through the inside of the knot, allowing you to thread different straps or materials through it, making the bow tie fully wearable.

The first two links on each side of the knot are intentionally connected to give the bow tie more stability when worn.

At the last 3D-printing fair, I used a cut-to-size Velcro strap like the ones typically used for cable management. It worked perfectly, and I was able to adjust the length precisely and individually to wear the bow tie with it.

Eine Fliege hinterlässt immer Eindruck: bei einer Hochzeit, einer Gala, einer Abendveranstaltung oder einer Abschlussfeier.

Manche tragen sie regelmäßig, andere nur zu besonderen Gelegenheiten – aber sie verleiht immer einen eleganten Akzent.

Das Beste: Sie zeigt deine 3D-Druck-Fähigkeiten, passt in einem Durchgang auf dein Druckbett und benötigt nur wenig Filament.

Jetzt fehlt nur noch der Anlass – und schon kann’s losgehen! 

Durch den Knoten verläuft ein Schlitz, durch den du verschiedene Bänder oder Materialien ziehen kannst, sodass die Fliege vollständig tragbar ist.
 
Die beiden ersten Glieder auf jeder Seite des Knotens sind bewusst miteinander verbunden, um der Fliege beim Tragen mehr Stabilität zu verleihen.

Ich habe auf der letzten 3D-Druck-Messe eine zuschneidbare Klettrolle verwendet, wie man sie zum Organisieren von Kabeln benutzt. Es hat wunderbar funktioniert und ich konnte die Größe perfekt und individuell anpassen, um die Fliege damit zu tragen.
