This concept presents a 3D-printable turntable base designed specifically for the Qube540 case.
The base uses a 5.5-inch Lazy Susan bearing to achieve smooth 360° rotation, combining functionality with a clean, minimal design.

Two versions are available:

  • V1 – Low Profile: a compact base that keeps the case close to the desk surface.
  • V2 – Elevated Version: compatible with Qube540 leg parts, allowing extra clearance and a more pronounced display.

The design aims to make PC setups both more practical and visually engaging, turning the everyday act of reaching your cables or showcasing your build into a smooth, elegant experience.

Print Settings

  • Material: PETG
    Chosen for its strength, flexibility, and heat resistance — ideal for supporting a PC case under rotation.
  • Infill: 30%
    Provides a solid balance between rigidity and material efficiency.
  • Walls (Perimeters): 3
    Ensures durable sidewalls and secure bearing mounts.
  • Top and Bottom Solid Layers: 5
    Adds stiffness and a clean surface finish.
  • Supports : Required just for base nut inlets.

Print Orientation Note:
Leg pads must be printed horizontally, not vertically, to prevent the pins from breaking under load. This orientation maximizes layer strength in the direction of applied stress.

Required Parts

  • Lazy Susan Bearing – 5.5 inch (140 mm)
    Serves as the main rotation mechanism of the turntable base.
  • Four M4x16 mm Countersunk Bolts
    Used to attach the bearing securely to the 3D-printed base.
  • Four M4 Nuts
    Paired with the bolts to lock the assembly in place.
  • Four Cylindrical Leg Raisers (for V2)
    Used to elevate the case and connect it securely to the turntable base.

Note: If you choose the V1 (low profile) version, you will need an additional four M4 nuts to secure the base directly to the case. Four bolts from the original Qube540 legs should be reused for this purpose.

Assembly & Installation (V2 – Elevated Version)

  1. Prepare the Case and Components
    Remove the original Qube540 legs from your case.
    Disassemble the legs and keep 8 bolts and 4 cylindrical raisers — these will be reused for mounting.
  2. Install the Leg Raisers
    Attach the four cylindrical raisers to the center mounting points of the case using the original Qube540 bolts.
    Ensure all parts are seated firmly and aligned evenly.
  3. Assemble the 3D-Printed Turntable Base
  • Insert the Lazy Susan bearing into the center recess of the printed base.
  • Align the outer holes of the bearing with those on the base.
  • Secure it using four M4x16 mm countersunk bolts and M4 nuts.
  • Confirm that the bearing rotates smoothly before proceeding.
  1. Insert the 3D-Printed Pins
    Press the four printed pins into the inner ring holes of the Lazy Susan bearing.
    A slight amount of force may be required to seat them securely.
  2. Attach the Base to the Case
    Position the assembled base on top of the installed leg raisers.
    The inner ring of the bearing should rest flat on the desk, while the outer ring remains fixed to the base.
  3. Final Mounting
    Use the original leg bolts to connect the turntable base to the raisers, completing the setup.
    Verify that the case rotates freely and evenly.
  4. Note: For the V1 (low profile) version, use four additional M4 nuts to secure the base directly to the case, reusing the original leg bolts.
