Build-a-Bears are great, loved by my kids and probably yours too. But their footwear? Those boots and shoes are not so robust, with nothing to stop the toe boxes from being crushed, dented, spindled, folded, and mutilated.
When Kuromi-chan entered the house with her not-so-steel-toed Butt Kicking Boots, it was clear they needed some help. A little time with Fusion and voila:

(Well, actually, there were several iterations to get to this one. The toe reinforcement alone slipped out of place and turned over. So we added a full-length sole. Then the heel tab to prevent the insert from damaging the rear of the boot. And then a finger hole to make removing it from the boot or shoe easier.)
Build a Bear boots don't have distinct left and right feet. The print profile has 2 inserts, does not matter which is left and right.
