Summary pretty much sums it up.
"Needed a good way to display this fine sword on a table."
So I modeled one.
added a Triforce to the front for pretties.
Enjoy!
parts needed/ supplied used:
Plaster of Paris
Hot Glue (could also use rubber feet)
Clear Coat
yellow Paint
I sliced it basically hollow, used some lightning infill for supports, and added a modifier to make a hole in the bottom. (see .3mf/.gcode file) I've filled with plaster for some necessary weight. (I find it helpful to give my 3d prints a quick once over with clear spray paint, as this makes them more waterproof.) All i have to do is wait for that to dry and paint the triforce.
** update **
turned out great! (in my humble opinion)
the plaster leveled nicely and adds the much needed weight.
my tape job for paint was okay, not perfect. but the contrast is fantastic!
the hotglue cooperated and made some nice feets to keep it from slipping around.
feels good, looks good, and does it's job.
Enjoy!
