There has been a lot of negative comments here but after printing the lamp I am really convinced that this is perfect design, Rybakken really understands his business. The lamp is easy to print, easy to assemble, each part fits together perfectly. No glue or screws required. The design is straight forward, very Scandinavian and when illuminated it shows its inner structure which is really a nice detail. I did not print with Prusament Vanilla but used another Pearl White filament and it just came out perfect. Love it! (edited)

I got this model as part of the Black Friday deal and printed it with the recommended prusament vanilla white. It came out spectacular! I modified the socket plate for a usb powered one I found and the rest is history! Love it!

got it free with core one for BF. I wish they included different thing for 50 usd.

Prusament Pristine white. Printed nicely with the included code. (edited)

Nice one, I actually laughed out loud when I clicked the link in the spam mail and saw the design... and then I saw the price. Made my day!

@Muhahahihilan_411861 Only "Non-commercial Use" for $50. Seems legit.

Got a spam mail about this. Looks like something we made in kindergarten out of paper towel roll and some cardboard. It looks ugly and is absolutely overpriced. Sorry for the negativity. But if i would not have been harassed by the spam mail i wouldn't be here commenting

I'm not the target audience for this grain silo/chimney

50€ - LoL ;-)

looks like my first 3d-printing trials 7 years ago (edited)

@rbx_3D was thinking the same. maybe should have published my scrap aswell and charge 50€ for it

Noticed that my comment was removed. I'll be nicer and describe my thoughts this time :)

It looks eerily similar to Edin & Lina Kjellvertz's Dusty Deco Paper Table Lamp, but mixed with a shoji paper screen. It even illuminates from the body like that lamp does. I'm disappointed that this design doesn't add anything unique to 3D printing, and as a result would've looked nicer if it were made of the wood and paper it is trying to imitate. I would expect a designer promoted by Prusa to design something that played to the strengths of a 3D printer instead of simply being compatible with the manufacturing process. A planet or moon lamp plays to the strengths of the 3D printer's process more than this lamp does because making those lamps with other manufacturing processes would be much harder. I'm mostly disappointed in Prusa championing a design that doesn't exemplify the abilities of a 3D printer well and is sold at a high price with a restrictive license antithetical to maker culture.

C'est une plaisanterie : 50$ pour cette ... "chose" on n'est pas le premier avril !! Ou alors les scandinaves ont vraiment un goût très très particulier

Is this an out of season april fools joke ?
