Description

Stillas (2025) is the first lamp designed by Norwegian designer Daniel Rybakken to be fully 3D printed.

An internal structure or scaffolding (“stillas” in Norwegian) supports the structure, enabling the walls to be printed so thin that the material becomes translucent.

This results in a design that is both simple and archetypical, but at the same time has an internal complexity that is hinted at when the lamp is turned off, and revealed when illuminated.

It is optimised for the Prusa CORE One and the Prusa XL printer using Prusament Vanilla White PLA.

It uses a standard and readily available E14 lamp socket. Use an E14 LED with a maximum consumption of 3W. A stronger light source might deform the lamp .3mf and .bgcode files are provided with a tested and functional slicer profile. Altering the profile might result in a less than perfect result. A STEP file for the lamp socket holder is provided for regional alterations.
