OTC - Orbital ToolChanger ( early prototype )

OTC – Orbital ToolChanger is an experimental 3D printer design featuring a single rotating toolhead with four independent hotends.
This system allows multi-material printing without the need for nozzle purging, reducing filament waste and speeding up the process.
The project is still under development — I’ll be updating this page with new parts, improvements, and documentation as the build progresses.

I’m currently working on the second version, which will be available for download including the .step file and assembly instructions :)

Everything will be open-source once the prototype is stable, so feel free to follow and share feedback!
