Strong TPU Strap (Parametric)

A flexible, durable strap printed in Vase Mode - surprisingly strong and incredibly versatile!

This elastic strap is 3D printed using Vase Mode, creating a flexible yet remarkably strong band. Successfully tested lifting a 16kg kettlebell (with 20mm wide strap) without any deformations!

Print Settings

• Material: Standard TPU 95A
  • For best results dry your TPU before print
• Print Mode: Vase Mode (Spiral Vase)
• Nozzle: 0.4mm
• Recommended Strap Thickness: 0.8mm (twice your nozzle size)

Available Sizes

• Small (3 spiral turns): ~50cm strap, 11g filament
• Medium (10 spiral turns): ~2m strap, 47g filament
• Large (20 spiral turns): ~5m strap, 118g filament
• Width of strap: 20mm
• Parametric OpenSCAD file attached - feel free to generate your own width and length of strap
