When we're done playing, most of us just put the VR headset onto a desk. If you don't want to screw into your walls and happen to have a VESA 100 monitor mount handy, then this print is for you! (If you don't care about screwing things to your walls, there are other prints for you! Or you can just screw this to the wall. But you're on your own.)

Assembly

You'll need 4x M4 nuts and 4x M4 screws (the latter typically come with monitor mounts, but make sure they're the right length, since too-long screws will extend into the area occupied by the Valve Index facial interface.) The STL assumes M4 nuts with an exterior size of ~7mm, and features press-fit nut slots (but you'll probably need to pull them in with M4 screws before mounting it to your VESA plate.)

Printing

No supports necessary; just print with the backplate on the print surface and it should come out perfect. Infill % can be very low; 10% or so should be perfectly adequate strength-wise.

Compatibility

Tested with the Valve Index and Oculus Quest 2 (tested with both the stock and VR Cover aftermarket facial interfaces.) Since the headset sits lenses-down in this mount, most VR headsets should work (but YMMV, and embark upon the 5+ hour print at your own risk.)
