Pumpkin Patch Guardian

Beware the living pumpkin! It walks on twisting green vines, snaring ill-fated trespassers! Its hideous face was carved by a mad farmer, whose evil soul animates its rotting orange flesh! It has space for a festive tea light!

Printing

The pumpkin can be printed in any material. Default 0.2mm settings are fine, but make sure supports are turned on to support the carved face.

I repeat: supports on! Or your face will turn to spaghetti!

For the vines, I recommend using PETG or ABS/ASA. PLA is susceptible to creep which will cause the joints to go floppy after a week or so.

I repeat: PETG or ABS! Or your limbs will go limp!

To match the model in the photographs, you will need:

• 1x pumpkin model of your choosing
• 1x stem.stl
• 1x hub.stl
• 24x vineSegment.stl
• 6x vineSegmentWithBall.stl
• 12x leaf.stl
• 1x LED tea light (optional, not printed)

You can print more or fewer segments if you want!

Assembly

Assembly is quite straightforward. Simply snap balls into sockets!

The pumpkin attaches to the hub with a bayonet-style mount. Just line it up and lock it in place with a clockwise turn.

You can place an LED tea light in the hub for extra spooky ambiance! (DO NOT use a real candle!)

Remixing + Compatibility

I've added a STEP file of the blank pumpkin if you would like to carve your own!

This model uses the same ball joint system that you will find in my other models, but at a larger scale.

If you would like to add parts from another 13 series model to this one, just scale them to 150% first. (E.g., a 100% scale Pumpkin is compatible with a 150% scale Dummy 13.)

Alternatively, if you aren't using the tea light, you can scale this model down to 66.67%.

• You give proper attribution to the source,
• You do not use it commercially, and
• You upload any copies or remixes under the same license.
